Great desert tour for 3 days/2 nights from Marrakech to Zagora with adventure in Erg Chegaga

Day 1: Marrakech, Tiz´n´Tichka, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, Zagora

We depart from Marrakech and pass through the high Atlas Mountains, Tizi N'tichka, after that we will drive to Ait Ben Haddou where we have a short stop to explore the Ksour of Ait Ben Haddou village to see ancient Kasbah ranked by the UNESCO since 1987, it is one of the world top touristic attractions. Many movies were filmed in there including Gladiator, The Mummy (1999), Lawrence of Arabia... Then, we will continue to Ouarzazte where is the studio of cinema is situated and visit an exotic Kasbah of Taourirt. After that, we will drive to the Zagora via Oasis of Agdaz, and the great valley of dara'a.Dinner and overnight staying at the Riad.


Day 2: Zagora, Tamegroute, Mhamid, Erg Chegaga, night in the bivouac

On the way to the gate of the Sahara, Mhamid, pass Tamegroute with a famous Koranic library. Even the underground Kasbah and the potteries are worth visiting. You will reach Mhamid where the Draa ends its run above ground and also the civilization ends. Lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant.after lunch we start track to the big sandy dunes Chegaga, the largest dunes in Morocco. Arrival at bivouac of Chegaga to enjoy the sunset. Dinner and overnight in the bivouac or under the stars.


Day 3: Chegaga dunes, Zagora, Ouarzazate, Marrakech

After the sunrise, you will ride the camels back to the hotel and you will have time to take breakfast and a shower. Then we'll leave the desert and return to M'hamid. After tea and breakfast departure to Marrakech through the Drâa. Stop in Agdez, visit of the Kasbah Tamnougalt. Continuation to Ouarzazate via Tizi N'Tinffift, then departure to Marrakech via Tizi N'Tichka, Arrival in Marrakech at 6 p.m., transfer to your hotel and end of our services.
