Tour for 5 days/ 4 nights from Fes to Marrakech – desert dunes and night in the bivouac with adventure in the desert

Day 1: Fes - Midelt - Azrou - Ziz-Tal - Merzouga - night in the hotel

We will pick you up from your Riad/hotel in Fes at 8:00 a.m or from your riad or hotel. We leave for Midelt through the Mountains and the cedar forest of the middle Atlas, passing by Ifrane, a charming ski resort and Azrou town, an important handicraft centre specialised in the work of cedar wood. We arrive in Midelt for lunch. At the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud, then into the desert of Erg Chebbi with high sandy Dunes. We arrive in Merzouga, dinner and overnight in the hotel.

Day 2 : Merzouga, Khamlia, desert nomads, Rissani, Merzouga, Erg Chebbi, night in the desert

After breakfast, We will make the tour of Erg Chebbi dunes. On our way, we will visit the village of KHAMLIA, a Moroccan village, inhabited by people from Mali.The visit aims to attend their performance on their special way of Music, Gnawa. We visit the Oasis of Merzouga which preserves an old system of irrigation, then orientation to Rissani to explore ancient Ksours and Kasbahs. After a local and typical lunch, we drive back to the hotel around 4:00 p.m. Once there, we change our car with friendly camels to depart in a camel trek to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will spend your night in a bivouac (camp) and enjoy Berber music, before going for a peaceful night under a nomad tent.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Erfoud - Tinghir - Todra Gorges - Dades Gorges

After the sunrise, you will ride the camels back to the hotel and you will have time to take breakfast and a shower. Then we'll leave Merzouga to Todra Gorges, drive to Todra valley and the Todra Gorges. Lunch at the spot, enjoying the beautiful scenery. Then we continue and have several stops along the Dades Valley. You will see the „monkey fingers valley“ and the Dades Gorge. Dinner and overnight in the panoramic hotel.

Day 4: Dades-Gorge - Kelaa Magona – Skoura – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, we drive through the Rose Valley to Ouarzazate. You will see the beautiful Kasbah Amridil, located near Skoura, and many beautiful spots on the way. After a short visit of Kasbah Taourirt in Ouarzazate, we drive to the riad. Dinner and overnight in the riad.

Day 5 : Ouarzazate –Kasbah Ait Benhaddou – High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

After breakfast in the hotel, we leave Ouarzazate in the morning, we will visit UNESCO protected site of Ait Ben Haddou, a most impressive Kasbah and well-preserved fortress in Morocco. Many movies were filmed here such as the Gladiator. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizni Tichka 2260m high offering impressive views of valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby. Arrival to Marrakech in evening, transfer to your hotel or riad and end of our service.
